Q: Did yur family supprt yu when yu decided t plant trees?
Li: Nt really. My family was strngly against my idea. My sn even brught me back hme, but the next day I went there again.
Q: Did yu have any difficulties?
Li: Yes. At that time, the living cnditins in the muntains were really terrible, and I didn’t have any experience. Thugh I wrked mre than 10 hurs every day, less than 10% f the trees culd be alive.
Q: Hw did yu slve the prblem?
Li: I bught bks and used what I learned t plant trees. I tried again and again. 19 years has passed, and mre than 95% f the trees are alive nw.
Q: It tk yu 19 years t plant trees. Any regrets?
Li: N. It’s my dream. And my biggest wish is that everyne plants a few trees every year.
