Step 1 Intrductin
Greeting and enjy a vide.
Invite a student t make a reprt which is abut the advantages f cycling.
Step 2 Presentatin
1.Talk with students abut hw t ride safely t lead t 1a and learn sme new wrds by shwing pictures and a real bicycle helmet.
2. David is riding a bike. Ask students t tell him hw t stay safe when riding a bike. Have a quick review.
3. Ask students ne questin. “What may happen if we break the traffic rules?” Ask students t watch the flash f 1a and find ut the answer. Teach the phrases “break the traffic rules / get a fine / be in danger”
4. Set up three tasks. Task 1: Listen t 1a and finish 1b. Task 2: Underline the adverbial clauses f cnditin. Task 3: Practice 1a with yur partner, then make yur wn cnversatin accrding t the key wrds. Invite sme pairs t act it ut. Encurage the students t finish different tasks t learn the key pints and difficult pints in 1a.
Step 3 Practice
Play a game. Divide the students in tw teams and have a cmpetitin. Let the students talk abut the results f breaking the traffic rules with “If”. Finish 2a.
Ask students t learn mre abut the traffic rules and match the tw parts f sentences t make traffic rules. Then check the answers in class. Finish 2b. Encurage the students t sum up the usage f adverbial clauses f cnditin.
Ask students t make sentences with “If”.

Step 4 Summary
Guide the students t sum up what they have learned tday.
