F 愿你多知 伦敦的双层巴士双层巴士即双层的公共汽车(double-decker bus)，是指载客车厢由上下两层组成的公共汽车。双层巴士起源于英国，其中行走伦敦的红色双层公交车，更是英国的“国宝”。在一些与英国相关连的国家和地区，如印度、香港和新加坡和南非等地，双层巴士也是主要的通勤交通工具之一。由于车体庞大，重心较高，驾驶员和乘客都要特别注意安全(safety)。因此，双层巴士不能开得太快，乘客也不能站在上层。由于行车安全和经营成本的关系，不少国家都曾引进过双层公共汽车，但还是以失败告终。一些欧洲、北美城市虽也有双层巴士，但主要还是作为观光巴士。
