Lantern festivals add magic t celebratins and their designs are deeply inspired (激励) by traditinal culture. On Sept 24, 2023, Wan Sngta and his team rganized the lantern shw at the Aldrich Bay Park in Hng Kng. Late, they hurried back t their hmetwn f Zigng in Sichuan prvince, where anther grand lantern shw was n the way.
“The lder I grw, the mre I like lantern making.” the 54-year-ld Wan Sngta tells China Daily. Early in the mrning after landing in Zigng, Wan went t wrk at Chinese Lantern Wrld, an cean f light and clr by huge lanterns in the shape f humans, flwers, animals and buildings t celebrate the traditinal Chinese festivals.
