Step 1 Lead-in
Shw pictures f different kinds f vlunteer activities and let students make sentences t describe the pictures.
Step 2 Wrk n 1a
1. Ask students t read the sentences and match the sentences with the similar meanings.
2. Check the answers.

1. Ask students t lk at the pictures in 1c. Tell them the by in the pictures is Jimmy.
2. Ask students what Jimmy is ding.
3. Play the recrding fr students. Students just listen fr the first time. Play the recrding again and let students number the pictures.
4. Check the answers.

Step 5 Listening (1d)
1. Let students read the sentences in 1d first. Tell students t listen again and judge the sentences True r False.

3. Invite students t share their wn experience as a vlunteer.

通过学习Jimmy 自愿修理旧自行车并无偿捐赠的故事,学生产生探索自身价值的兴趣,学会选择适合自己的志愿服务,养成助人为乐的精神。
