Life has been hard fr Chinese villager Zu Wenba, wh is in his early 20s. But thanks t Beijing-based Chen's Studi, music has becme his saving grace. It was early winter several years ag. I had pulled ut my ld winter cat fr anther year’s use. It was still in pretty gd shape althugh it was lking dirty frm s many winters’ wear. A few weeks later she gave me a new winter cat as a gift.
I put the ld ne in my clset and started t wear the new cat every day. Each day, thugh, when I pened my clset, smething trubled me. It seemed a shame that my ld but still gd cat shuld just sit there keeping n ne warm during the cld winter days. After a few weeks, I tk it ut and drve t a lcal charity shp. I knew that there was smene wh culdn’t affrd a cat but culd get my ld ne.
My new cat is my ld cat nw. It is getting a little dirty and wrn, t. It has black marks n the sleeves. It is in t bad shape t even dnate t charity. The Price f a Dream
I grew up pr. We had little mney, but plenty f lve and attentin. I understd that n matter hw pr a persn was, they culd still affrd a dream. My dream was athletics.
By the time I was sixteen, I was gd at baseball and ftball. My high schl cach was Ollie Jarvis. He nt nly believed in me, but taught me the difference between having a dream and shwing cnvictin (信念).
One summer a friend recmmended me fr a summer jb. This meant a chance fr mney in my pcket — cash fr dates with girls, certainly, mney fr a new bike and new clthes, and the start f savings fr a huse fr my mther.

Super Typhn Rai (knwn as “Odette” in the Philippines) made landfall n Siarga Island in sutheastern Philippines at 1:30 pm lcal time n Thursday, December 16.
