Period 3 (Section B 1a-1f)设计说明 本课时任务之一是学习掌握与乐器有关的名词及短语,通过图片、游戏等方式调动学生学习的热情和积极性,鼓励学生大胆发言,在真实的语境中巩固旧知识,学习新知识;任务之二是围绕听力的具体细节来设计问题,训练学生听准关键信息并及时记下问题答案的能力。教学目标 1. 知识目标: (1)掌握单词和短语:drum,piano,violin;play the drums,play the piano,play the violin。 (2)学会用can谈论和描述个人能力。 2. 能力目标: 学会用can谈论和描述个人能力,巩固、拓展学生的听说能力。 3. 情感目标: 培养学生的交际能力、与人相处的能力及合作意识。重点难点 1. 重点: 学会用can谈论和描述个人能力。 2. 难点: 培养学生处理信息的能力,提高学习效率。教学准备 1. 准备小提琴、钢琴、鼓和吉他等乐器的图片。 2. 准备多媒体课件,1b、1d、1e的音频文件。教学过程 Step 1 Warming up & Leading in 1. Dictate the following words:story,tell,write,swim,dance,chess,join,draw,sing,speak,show,club. T:Good morning,boys and girls. Please take out a piece of paper and we’ll have a dictation. Check the answers,and then correct mistakes. 2.(Short conversations between the teacher and some of the students.)T:What can you do? S1:I can sing. T:What club do you want to join? S1:I want to join the music club. T:Can you dance? S2:No,I can’t. /Yes,I can. T:What club do you want to join? S2:... Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach Activity 1a. T:Look at me carefully. Can you guess what I can do? (The teacher acts how to play the instruments. Maybe they can’t get the answer at first,so give them some hints.) Teach the new words:violin,drum,piano. (板书单词) 2. Draw lines to match the words with the pictures in 1a. Check the answers. Answers:Top left:piano Bottom left:guitar Top right:violin Bottom right:drums 3. Guessing game. Show pictures of a violin,a drum,a piano and a guitar,and cover parts of the instruments. Then get the students to guess the names of the instruments. 4. Read and write the new words. 鼓 drum 钢琴 piano 吉他 guitar 小提琴 violin 5. Students read the conversation in 1c. Then students make their own conversations. S1:Can you play the guitar? S2:Yes,I can. Can you play the drums? S3:... Step 3 Listening 1. Listen and number the words [1-4] in the order of the sounds you hear in 1a. Check the answers. Answers:1. guitar 2. drums 3. piano 4. violin 2. T:Look! A teacher wants some students for the school concert. She is asking some students what they can do. Listen and circle the words and phrases you hear in 1d. Check the answers. Answers:play the guitar,play the drums,play the piano,sing,dance 3. Listen again and fill in the chart with the words and phrases in 1d. 4. Make sentences with “and” and “but”. (可以以小组竞赛的方式,用and和but造句,在规定时间内将所造句子写在纸片上,写出正确句子最多的小组获胜。) 5. Work in groups. Step 5 Additional task 1. Do a survey in groups and fill in the chart. 2. Ask the students to give their reports. Report like this: There are four students in my group. S1 likes playing sports. She can play basketball,but she can’t play it well. And S2 likes music. He can dance,sing and play the guitar,but he can’t play the guitar well... Step 6 Summary In this lesson,we have learned: 1.
