Period 3(Section B 1a-1d)设计说明 本课时听说活动由小游戏“它是什么动物?”展开,让学生巩固所学词汇和句型;再通过听力训练对描述性形容词进行进一步巩固,然后通过合作、讨论等环节学会如何在真实情景下运用描述性形容词;这些活动的开展有利于为学生创设自主学习空间,让他们有机会去交流和实践所学的语言材料,有效调动和保持学习兴趣。教学目标 1. 知识目标: (1)掌握单词:friendly,shy。 (2)掌握句型: —What animals do you like? —I like... —Why do you like...? —Because they’re... 2. 能力目标: (1)学会询问别人喜欢的动物及原因;根据自己的喜好描述动物。 (2)通过听力训练,培养学生快速、准确地获取所需信息的能力。 3. 情感目标: 通过认识、了解动物,培养学生喜欢动物、保护动物的意识。重点难点 1. 重点: (1)本课时词汇:friendly,shy。 (2)what,why引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。 2. 难点: 学会熟练运用描述性形容词并结合程度副词对动物进行描述。教学准备 1. 有关动物的图片。 2. 多媒体课件,1b/1c的音频文件。教学过程 Step 1 Warming up & Leading in 1. Guessing game Show parts of the animals and ask the students to guess what animals they are. 2. T:Good morning,boys and girls! Let’s talk about animals. T:Look at picture 1. What animal is it? S1:It’s a panda. T:Where is it from? S1:It’s from China. T:Do you like pandas? S1:Yes,I do. T:Why do you like pandas? S1:Because they’re cute. ... Step 2 Presentation T:Look at the screen. There are some pictures of animals. Look at picture a. T:What animal is it? Ss:A tiger. T:Can you describe tigers? S1:They’re scary. S2:They’re beautiful. S3:They’re cool. ... Step 5 Group work 1. Role-play the conversation in 1d. 2. Make your own conversations. Talk about the animals you know with your partner. 3. Role-play the new conversation. (Ask several pairs of students to share their conversations with the class.) 4. How many description words do you know?
