    二、教学重难点
    1. 教学重点:
    1) 学习询问和谈论彼此的能力和特长;
    2) 掌握一些弹奏乐器的表达方式。
    2. 教学难点:
    情态动词can的构成和使用。
    三、教学过程
    = 1 \* ROMAN I. Warming up
    Shw Ss the pattern and pictures abut sing, dance, play the guitar, draw, swim, play chess, speak English and Ask them t talk abut it:

    2. Ss lk at the picture in 1a. Then read the wrds and phrases. Let them match the activities with the peple.
    Then Check the answers with the class tgether.
    Ⅱ. Listening
    1. T: Nw let’s listen t the tape, find ut the right cnversatin, and number them 1-3.
    (播放lb部分的录音让学生听,引导学生根据所听到的内容,选出对话的顺序,完成1b部分的教学任务。)
    2. Check the answers: (2,3, 1 )
    3. Listen again and answer the questins.

    1. Ask the Ss t practice the cnversatins in 1b with a partner. Then make their wn cnversatins.

    1. Pre-listening
    Ask Ss t lk at the picture f 2a and predict what they are talking abut?
    2. Wrk n 2a;
    T: Nw, lk at the pictures n P2, listen t the fur cnversatins. Just listen.
    (Play the recrding fr the first time, students nly listen carefully.)
    Then, listen t the recrding again, and circle the clubs yu hear.
    Check the answers with the class.

    1. Lk at 2b and talk abut what the peple can d and the clubs they want t jin.

    Ss read the cnversatin by themselves and find the answers t the questins.
    2. Read the cnversatin in 2d. Fill in the chart.
    3. Let Ss read after the teacher r play the recrding and let Ss read after the recrding.
    4. Ss wrk in pairs t act ut the cnversatin.
    5. Ask sme pairs cme t the frnt f the classrm. They try t act ut the cnversatin. See which grup is the best.

    1. Can yu play the guitar?
    can “能够”,这里用来谈论人的能力。
    否定形式:can’t = can nt 不能够
    can 是个情态动词,不能独立存在,必须与动词原形构成句子的谓语。
    can 没有人称和数的变化。例如:
    I can speak English well. 我的英语说的很溜。
    Jack can swim, but I can’t. 杰克会游泳但我不会。
    She can’t play chess. 她不会下棋 。
    play 意为“玩,打;演奏(乐器)”
    play 后跟体育运动时,不用冠词。如:play sccer 踢足球

    play 后跟乐器时,要加定冠词 the。如:play the guitar 弹吉它

    我想参加美术社团。
    club 表示“俱乐部”或“社团”。
    在英、美等国,中小学校会组织各类俱乐部来提高学生的兴趣及才能,丰富他们的文化生活。相当于我国中小学校中的“兴趣小组”。
    want t d … 想干什么
    主语是第三人称单数时, want→wants;
    变疑问句、否定句要借助助动词d或des。
    e.g. He wants t play basketball.
    他想去打篮球。

    —你想踢足球吗?
    —是的。/ 不想。
    jin v. 参加;加入,此处指加入社团或组织,成为其中的成员。例如:
    e.g. jin the army 参军
    jin the Yung Pineer 加入少先队

    你很擅长讲故事。
    be gd at sth./ding sth. … 表示“擅长于 ……; 精通 ……”, 后面可接名词或动词的ing形式。例如:
    Mr Li is gd at languages. He can speak eight languages.

    玛丽的弟弟擅长唱歌。
    Mary’s brther is gd at singing.
