    2. Pint ut the numbered list f activities. Say each ne again and ask students t repeat.
    3. Then ask students t match each activity with ne f the pictures. Say, Write the letter f each activity next t the wrds. Pint ut the sample answer.
    4. Check the answers.

    This activity gives students practice in understanding the target language in spken cnversatin.
    1. Pint t the activities in the picture in activity la. Ask students t tell what the persn did in each picture. Fr example, she played badmintn, r Lucy went t the cinema. Play the recrding the first time. Students nly listen.
    2. Play the recrding a secnd time. This time say. Listen t the recrding and write the days and times Lucy did each thing under the pictures. Pint ut the sample answer under the picture f Lucy playing badmintn; n Saturday mrning.

    Ⅹ. Language pints
    1. sheep n. 绵羊
    单复数同形, 当它作主语时谓语动词的单复数形式要根据它在句中的意思来确定。类似的单词还有deer (鹿), Chinese (中国人)等。
    e.g. Lk! there are three sheep eating grass under the tree.
    看! 树下有三只羊在吃草。
    2. —Wh visited her grandma?
    —Becky did.
    答语中的did代替了问句中的visited her grandma。英语中为了避免不必要的重复,经常使用d, des, did, s等来代替前面的动词或相关内容,其时态要与问句中的时态保持一致。
    【语境应用】完成对话
    (1) —D yu like music?
    —N, I dn’t. ________________________ (但我爸爸喜欢).
    (2) —Did he g t the library yesterday?
    —N, he didn’t. ________________________ (但是我去了).
    3. I wrked as a guide at the Natural Histry Museum.
    我在自然历史博物馆里做导游的工作。
    句中的as是介词,意为“作为;当作”。如:
    My sister wrks as a teacher in a middle schl.
    我姐姐在学校当老师。
    4. Hw interesting! 多么有趣啊!
    该句为hw引导的感叹句,后面省略了it was。感叹句通常由hw或what引导。hw修饰形容词或副词,它引导的感叹句句型为:Hw +形容词 / 副词(+主语+其他)!
    【拓展】what修饰名词,它引导的感叹句有三种句型:
    ① What + a / an +形容词+单数可数名词(+主语+其他)!
    ② What +形容词+复数可数名词(+主语+其他)!
    ③ What +形容词+不可数名词(+主语+其他)!
    【语境应用】完成句子
    (1) 多么美丽的画啊!

    它们(指博物馆)有一个200多种蝴蝶的蝴蝶馆。
    句中的with是介词,意为“有;带有”。如:
    Wh is the girl with lng hair?
    那位长发女孩是谁?
    kind n. 种;类 是可数名词。如:
    e.g. There are three kinds f fruits n the table.
    桌子上有三种水果。
    【拓展】与kind有关的短语:
    a kind f 一种;某种(不明确的东西)
