    tw weeks ag “两星期前”,一段时间 + ag意为“多长时间之前”,是表达过去的时间。它常与一般过去时连用。一般过去时的标志性词汇:(ag / last
    year / yesterday/ the day befre yesterday/ just nw/in+过去的时间)。
    【辨析】befre 意为“在……之前”,其后可以跟一个时间的点, 表示“在某个时间点之前”, 但不一定用于一般过去时态。如:
    I usually g t schl befre seven.
    我常在七点钟前去上学。
    此外, befre也可以单独用, 意为“以前”, 可用于一般过去时态中。如:
    I didn’t knw that befre.
    以前我不知道那件事情。

    put up是一个固定短语,可意为:
    搭起;建造。如:put up a tent (搭起帐篷)
    举起;使升高。如:put up a flag (升旗)
    张贴。如:put up a ntice (贴出通知)
