Period 4（Section B 2a-2e）设计说明 通过看图片师生自由交谈，引入本课时的课文。在课文阅读前的讨论中，从写感谢信的角度引导学生回顾英语书信的格式，为理解课文内容并回答问题做好铺垫。在阅读时，突出词性对词义的影响，通过词性推导词义。在阅读后的活动中，主要学习课文中的英语表达、固定用法，并练习课文中引申出的话题，结合已有的背景知识发表自己的观点。通过本课的学习，让学生学会关注身边的生活环境、关注他人，利用自己的特长帮助别人，奉献爱心。教学目标 1. 知识目标 （1）掌握单词和短语：letter，Miss，disabled，blind，deaf，imagine，difficulty，open，door，carry，train，excited，training，kindness，clever，understand，change；set up，make a difference。 （2）掌握句型：①I’d like to thank you for giving money to Animal Helpers. ②I’m sure you know that this group was set up to help disabled people like me. ③You helped to make it possible for me to have Lucky. ④Lucky makes a big difference to my life. ⑤You see，I’m only able to have a“dog helper” because of your kindness! 2. 能力目标 阅读短文，获得相关信息，提高学生的综合阅读能力。 3. 情感目标 引导学生学会关注身边的生活环境、关注他人、奉献爱心，培养学生热爱社会公益事业、扶贫济困、乐于助人的优秀品质。重点难点 1. 重点： （1）掌握本课时出现的生词及用法。 （2）掌握本课时句型，提高学生的综合阅读能力。 2. 难点： 阅读2b部分的短文并完成相关要求。教学准备 1. 准备与教学内容有关的图片。 2. 准备多媒体课件。教学过程 Step 1 Warming up & Leading in T：Good morning，boys and girls!
