Period 4 (Section B 2a-2e)设计说明 本节课是一节阅读课,由欣赏音乐开始,让学生有一种放松的感觉,然后通过师生间的自由交谈引出课外活动这一话题,从而导入2a的学习。在阅读过程中,教师可指导学生浏览2b所列的两个问题,预测课文的大意,明确第一遍阅读的目的,让学生仔细阅读课文,根据2c所提供的含义找到文中可匹配的词汇;让学生再次阅读课文,回答2d及教师补充的问题,考查学生分类、归纳、推理或总结的能力。教学目标 1. 知识目标 (1)掌握单词和短语:opinion,skill,typical,football,quick,continue,compare,crazy,push,development,cause,usual;cut out,compare...with。 (2)阅读课文“Maybe You Should Learn to Relax!”,学习并掌握课文中的重点短语、句型。 2. 能力目标 (1)能根据所掌握的词汇快速捕获文章信息。 (2)通过阅读教学让学生掌握一些重点短语、句型,同时掌握根据上下文猜测词义的阅读方法。 3. 情感目标 了解中国及其他一些国家的中学生普遍存在的生活及学习上的问题,了解别人的生活现状及他们的苦恼,明白学习知识是很重要的事情,但它并不是生活的全部。重点难点 1. 重点: (1)本课时单词与短语。 (2)通过阅读教学让学生掌握一些重点短语、句型,同时掌握根据上下文猜测词义的阅读方法。 2. 难点: 能够熟练掌握文章中重点词汇的用法,同时能够复述课文。教学准备 1. 准备与课文有关的图片。 2. 准备录音机、磁带及多媒体课件。教学过程 Step 1 Warming up & Leading in T:Good morning,boys and girls! Let’s enjoy a piece of light music. T:It’s beautiful. Do you like listening to music? S1:Yes,I like listening to music very much. T:Will you listen to music when you feel stressed out? S1:Yes,I will. T:What other activities do you like to do to help lower your stress? S1:I like to play sports,watch TV and hang out with my friends. T:What about you? S2:... Step 2 Reading T:Doing these activities can help lower your stress. And it can help to relax yourselves. Now look at the picture in 2b. What activity are they doing? S1:They are playing basketball.
