Period 5 （Section B 3a-Self Check）设计说明 本节课通过复习上节课所学的课文以及本单元所学的重点内容，引出本课时内容Self Check，然后学生自主完成Self Check。本课时的重难点是写作，学生可以通过话题写作，表达自己的观点，提高运用语言的能力及写作的能力。在写作过程中，做好写作前3a活动的讨论，可以为3b的写作做好铺垫，同时降低写作难度，也可以让学生对自己充满信心，有利于更好地完成写作任务。最后的拓展活动锻炼学生的口语表达能力。教学目标 1. 知识目标 （1）掌握单词和短语：perhaps；in one’s opinion。 （2）复习until，so that，although等的用法。 （3）话题写作：正确使用表达观点的句式I don’t really agree with...，I think...，In my opinion...，I believe...，并根据所给信息独立完成写作任务。 2. 能力目标 （1）能够用英语表达自己的建议，并就自己所熟知的问题发表看法。能用本单元所学的语言简单表达对问题的一些建议。 （2）通过话题写作，表达自己的观点，提高运用语言的能力及写作的能力。 3. 情感目标 学会冷静对待问题，运用合理的办法理性地解决问题，缓解压力。重点难点 1. 重点： （1）掌握本课时词汇。 （2）能运用所学的语言知识来简单地表达自己对某一问题的看法和建议。 2. 难点： 话题写作：正确使用表达观点的句式I don’t really agree with...，I think...，In my opinion...，I believe...，并根据所给信息独立完成写作任务。教学准备 1. 准备与本课时有关的图片。 2. 准备多媒体课件。教学过程 Step 1 Warming up & Leading in T：Good morning，boys and girls! First let’s revise the grammar in this unit. T：Please make conversations with the pictures like this. A：You look tired. What’s wrong? B：I studied until midnight last night so I didn’t get enough sleep. A：Why don’t you go to sleep earlier this evening? B：Good idea. Step 2 Self Check Work on Self Check 1. 1. And have them write their letters on a separate piece of paper.
