Period 3 (Section B 1a-1d)设计说明 本节课为听说课。主要通过“Have you ever been to...? ” 问句复习前面所学内容,继续谈论有关旅游的话题。通过师生问答,复习学过的有关现在完成时的句型。用图片展示新单词和短语;让学生以小组为单位进行问答,以巩固所学知识;然后做听力练习,完成1b,1c部分。训练学生的听力,提高听力技能;让学生根据1b 和1c的信息,将Peter的这次旅游写成一篇小短文,来提高学生把握关键信息的能力和写作能力;最后通过小组调查活动,来了解同学们的旅游经历,达到该课时的教学目标。教学目标 1. 知识目标 (1)掌握短语:the Terracotta Army,the Great Wall,the Bird’s Nest,the Palace Museum。 (2)掌握句型:①How long have you been in China? ②Have you traveled much? ③Have you visited the Palace Museum? 2. 能力目标 让学生掌握现在完成时和相关句型,并能用英语描述自己的旅游经历。 3. 情感目标 通过谈论自己的旅游经历和景点,了解祖国的大好河山和灿烂文化,培养热爱祖国的情感。重点难点 1. 重点: (1)掌握本课时出现的新短语和重要句型。 (2)进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。 2. 难点: 运用现在完成时描述自己的旅游经历。教学准备 多媒体课件,录音机,磁带,调查表格。教学过程 Step 1 Revision 1. Revision. For example: T:Have you ever seen Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck? S1:Yes,I saw them several years ago. T:What do you think of them? S1:They were very funny. ... 2. Get students to retell the article in Section A 3a. Say something special about each museum. For example:The most interesting museum I’ve ever been to is the American Computer Museum... Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the pictures one by one on the screen and teach the new phrases like this: T:Look at the picture. What’s this in Chinese? Ss:故宫. T:Yes. Its English name is the Palace Museum. Show the English name the Palace Museum under the picture. Get the students to read it. In the same way,teach other phrases:the Great Wall,the Bird’s Nest and the Terracotta Army. the Palace Museum the Great Wall the Bird’s Nest the Terracotta Army 2. Check them. Complete the phrases according to the Chinese meanings. (1)故宫 the Palace Museum (2)兵马俑 the Terracotta Army (3)鸟巢 the Bird’s Nest (4)长城 the Great Wall Step 3 Practice 1. Match the pictures with the names in 1a. 2. Students work in pairs to make simple conversations: A:Have you ever been to...? B:Yes,I have. /No,I haven’t. ... Step 4 Listening Work on 1b. 1. Tell students to read the questions first. 2. Play the recording for the students and check the questions they hear. 3. Check the answers. Answers:√Have you visited the Palace Museum? √Have you been to the Great Wall? √Have you tried Chinese food? Work on 1c. 1. Play the tape for the second time,and students take notes while they are listening. 2. Play the tape for the third time,and students listen and check their answers. Then check the answers in class. Peter has been in China for two weeks,and he’s going back to Australia tomorrow. He has traveled much in China and has seen many interesting things here. Last week he went to the Palace Museum and saw many beautiful treasures there. He also went to the Great Wall,but there were too many people. As for places outside Beijing,he has seen the Terracotta Army in Xi’an. He thinks it’s fantastic. He loves Chinese food,too. His favorite dish is Beijing Duck. He thinks it’s very delicious. 5. Retell Peter’s trip. First work in groups,and then ask some students to retell in front of the class. Step 5 Cooperative inquiry Discuss the following language points in groups and fill in the blanks. 看下面的句子: I have been in China for two months.我来中国两个月了。 小组探讨:have/has been in的用法。 have/has been in表示“待在某地(一段时间)”,常与时间段连用。 I have been in Shanghai for three years. 我在上海已有三年了。 He has been in London for half a month. 他在伦敦已有半个月了。 注意:have/has been in后面接地点副词home,here,there时,省略介词in。 Step 6 Group work 1. Work in groups. And fill in the survey result in the chart. The chart is like this: 2. Give a report. For example:Lily has been to Qingdao and she has been to the Aquarium.
