Additinally, the prductin f agricultural supplements(补充剂), such as fertilizer, uses large amunts f energy.
The wrld has used clse t half f the glbal il supply, Beach says, and the secnd half will be cnsumed at an even faster rate because f grwing ppulatin and ecnmic develpment. Althugh many businesses are experimenting with wind, slar, and bifuel, Beach says there’s nthing that we see n the hrizn that can replace it. “There is n way n Earth we are using fssil fuels sustainably.
根据第二段中的“By eating lcal, she argues, peple have a better and mre persnal understanding f the impact their fd cnsumptin has n the rest f the wrld.(她认为,通过食用本地食品,人们对自己的食品消费对世界其他地区的影响有了更好、更深刻的了解。)”
故选A。

Althugh many businesses are experimenting with wind, slar, and bifuel, Beach says there’s nthing that we see n the hrizn that can replace it.(Beach说,全世界已经使用了全球近一半的石油供应,而由于人口的增长和经济的发展,下一半的石油将以更快的速度被消费。 故选A。
再结合第二段中的“Experts hld that eating lcal has many merits, and is expected t becme a trend featuring sustainability.(专家们认为,食用本地食品有许多优点,并有望成为一种可持续发展的趋势。)”
