Recently, a research n hw a new virtual reality (VR虚拟现实) experience educated children abut the fire disasters (灾害) was dne. The new VR experience was develped by the University f Suth Australia, hping t educate children t learn hw t be safe in a fire. It presents a situatin fr children aged 10 -12. The researchers believed such VR experiences made it pssible t engage, educate and empwer (增加自主权) the yung. “As children brn in mdern times, they are interested in such technlgy and they can experience events in a real situatin yet within the safe envirnment,” said Delene Weber, ne f the researchers. “ Well-designed VR can prvide surprisingly valuable learning tls fr children.” Meanwhile, because children have fewer life experiences, aren’t as physically strng, and are less likely t have learned much abut fire safety, they’re ften mst at risk.
