1. 了解并描述问题, 简单分析各种问题产生的原因。
2. 用完整的语段梳理各种建议;并尝试用why nt, culd, shuld, althugh 等提出建议或劝告。
教学重点:

教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
Shw a picture f a sad by with his mther sitting beside him t the students, let them talk abut it and guess what happened t that by.
Step 2 Talking (1a)
1. Let students wrk in pairs. Ask students t discuss the prblems with their partners.
2. Let students talk abut their answers. Encurage them t share the ideas like “I think ... is (nt) serius.”

注意:当两者都用于表达“建议”他人……时, culd 译作“可以”,表示给出一个可行的建议;“shuld” 译作“应该”,语气更加强烈,表示给出最合适的建议,最应该……

2. Play the recrding fr the students and ask them t answer the questin “Why desn’t Peter like his friend’s advice?” Write the letters (a—e) next t the advice in 2a.
3. Play the recrding again t check the answers.

1. Ask tw students t read the cnversatin in class.
2. Teach and then make the students rle-play the cnversatin in pairs and act it ut.
3. Ask tw students t answer the questins.

教学效果评价
学生能够在听说活动后,掌握并运用情态动词culd, shuld 以及why dn’t yu... 句型提出合理的劝告和建议,能将所学知识与成长中的烦恼联系起来,有效解决与他人的矛盾。
作业
完成UNIT 4 课时1 Sectin A (1a—2d) 的练习。
