When is your birthday, Linda?My birthday is on May 2nd.“When is one's birthday?”为询问某人生日的句型,其答语通常为“One's birthday is on+日期.”或“It's on+日期.”May 2nd是日期的表达法。表达具体日期通常为“月份+序数词”,月份首字母必须大写。英语中表示具体年、月、日的方式通常有两种“月+日+年”或“日+月+年”。年份要用逗号隔开。e.g.2017年9月9日 September 9th, 2017或9th September, 2017基变序,有规律,词尾加上th。一二三 特殊记(first,second,third),八加h(eighth),九减e(ninth)ve要用f替,(fivefifth;twelve twelfth)整十变y为ie,(twenty twentieth,thirty  thirtieth)-th 最后加上去,若是第几十几,前为基,后为序。(twenty-onetwenty-first; twenty-fourtwenty-fourth)基数词变序数词顺口溜 2.—How old are you? —I'm thirteen. how old意为“多大年纪;几岁”,常用于询问年龄。其句型结构为“How old + be + 主语?”答语通常为“主语 + be + 基数词 + years old”,其中 years old 可以省略。What's ... age?”和“How old is / are ...?”意思相同,可互换。e.g.What's your age? = How old are you? 你多大了?3.When is Alice's birthday?Alice's 是 Alice 的名词所有格形式,意为“艾丽斯的”,名词所有格表示人或物的所属关系,在句中作定语或表语。's所有格的构成:①一般情况下,在词尾加's。 Jim's friend 吉姆的朋友②以s结尾的复数名词,在词尾加'。 the workers' leader 工人们的领导③不以s结尾的复数名词,在词尾加's。 children's rooms 孩子们的房间4.Happy birthday! 句中的happy用于表达祝愿“生日快乐!”。回答时一般用 Thank you! e.g.— Happy Teachers' Day! 教师节快乐! — Thank you. 谢谢你。5.At three this afternoon. 表示时间的介词at, in与on at 常用于时刻前或一些固定的习惯用语中。e.g. at 9:00 在9点钟 at noon 在中午in 用在月份、季节、年份等前面,也可以表示“在早上、在下午、在晚上”。e.g. in 2017 在2017年 in May 在五月 in the morning/afternoon/evening 在早上/下午/晚上 on 用在日期、星期几、节日前,也可用来表示具体某一天的上午、下午或晚上。 e.g. on Children's Day 在儿童节 on Tuesday evening 在周二晚上 Exercises 一、单项选择1.   is the month between July and September.
