    1、manner
    (1)可指“做事的方法, 事情发生的方式”。
    例如:Why are yu talking in such a strange manner? 你为什么用这种奇怪的方式谈话?
    也指“态度, 举止”。
    例如:His manner was slightly rude, but yu mustn’t mind. 他的态度有点粗鲁,但是你千万别介意。
    还指“礼貌, 礼节”。
    例如:It’s bad manners t talk with a full muth. 嘴里吃着东西说话是不礼貌的。
    还可指“风俗, 习俗”。
    例如: It is interesting t learn the manners and custms f ther cuntries.
    了解其他国家的风俗习惯是很有趣的。
    2、Yu’re ld enugh t learn abut manners nw. 你现在年龄够大了,可以学学礼仪了。
    manner 是可数名词,意思是:方式,态度,举止。

    have manners 有礼貌, have n manners 没有礼貌
    …enugh t d… 够 …… 可以做 ……
    嘴里吃着东西说话是不礼貌的。(翻译)

    3.Others
    thers是ther的复数,相当于ther 后接复数名词,意为“别的,其他的”。
    the thers表示一定范围内除去一部分以后其余的部分,特指已知的人或物中“除……之外,其余的全部”,相当于“the ther+名词复数”。
    例如:
    Sme students are reading, thers are writing. (thers相当于ther students)
    一些学生在读书,还有一些在写作。
    There are 22 bys. Ten f them are playing ftball, the thers are playing basketball.
    有二十二个男孩,十个在踢足球,其他的在打篮球。(the thers指剩余的十二个学生)

    句子 plitely 是副词,意思是“礼貌地”。

    1). 留下 “leave”
    leave 用作及物动词,意为 “ 留下,留给 ” 时,
    常见的短语有 leave sb by neself 或 leave sb alne( 把某人独自留下)
    例如: Mrs Green is very busy with wrk and always leaves her sn at hme by himself.
    2). 遗忘 “leave"
    汉语中说 “ 遗忘某物 ” 可以 frget 或 leave. leave 多与表示场所的副词,或以表示具体特点的词语相连。
    frget 侧不接具体的地点。
    例如: I left my umbrella at hme.
    3).“ 离开 ”leave
    leave 可作及物动词或不及物动词。意为 “ 出发,离开 ” 。
    常用与短语 “leave fr sme place"( 动手去,出发到)。
    例如: When did yu leave then rm? 你什么时候离开你的房间的?
    4).leave 的 “ 请假 ” 条
    leave 用作名词时,表示多种含义,有 “ 请假;许可,同意 ” 的含义。
