❶ 表示“兴趣,爱好”, 为不可数名词,可与不定冠词连用,表示在“对...的兴趣”, 其后通常接介词in。

❷ interest还可作动词,意为“使感兴趣;使关注”。

2. I’m strng in……(教材P16 3b)
be strng in意为“擅长……”,其后可接名词、代词或动词-ing形式作宾语。此处strng为形容词,意为“能力强的,擅长的”。同义短语be gd at “擅长……”,于其反义短语为 be weak in,意为“不擅长……”。
eg:He is strng in Chinese. 他很擅长中文。 Yu must be strng in mind and bdy. 你的身心必须强健。
