    I still remember the last Christmas Granny spent with us. It began in the middle f Nvember n a cld, windy day, I remember the wind because Granny's grey hair was a mess when she arrived.
    我仍然记得奶奶和我们一起度过的最后一个圣诞节。它始于11月中旬的一个寒冷多风的日子,我记得当时的风,因为奶奶来的时候,她的灰色头发乱糟糟的。
    That was als the day Granny mved in. Smehw, at the time, I didn't knw she was sick. Maybe was t yung, maybe she hid it t well, r maybe l was just t excited that Christmas was n the way.
    那也是奶奶搬进来的日子。不知怎么的,当时我不知道她生病了。也许她太年轻了,也许她藏得太好了,也许圣诞节即将到来,我太兴奋了。
    After Granny mved in, she spent mst f her time n the brwn sfa by the fire. Smetimes she was quiet, but she seemed happy. 奶奶搬进来后,大部分时间都在炉火旁的棕色沙发上度过。有时她很安静,但看起来很开心。
    When I wrte a letter t Father Christmas telling him abut the presents I wanted, Granny made an effrt t help me. Her hand was slightly shaky, but she wrte “Father Christmas, the Nrth Ple" n the envelpe.
    当我给圣诞老人写了一封信,告诉他我想要的礼物时,奶奶尽力帮助我。她的手有点颤抖,但她在信封上写着“圣诞老人,北极”。

    I hung mst f the decratins n the branches.That's the mst beautiful tree I've ever seen," Granny said.我把大部分的装饰品挂在树枝上。那是我见过的最美丽的树。”奶奶说。
    Then she started singing, "Oh, Christmas tree, h, Christmas tree, yu fill my heart with music ...“然后她开始唱歌,“哦,圣诞树,哦,圣诞棵,你让我的心充满了音乐……”
    Befre bed, Granny and I left a plate f sugar biscuits ut fr Father Christmas,and put a stcking at the end f my bed.睡前,我和奶奶为圣诞老人留下了一盘糖饼干,并在床尾放了一只袜子。
    I remember Granny sitting n my bed and singing sftly until I fell asleep.我记得奶奶坐在我的床上轻声唱歌,直到我睡着。
    My stcking was full f small tys and sweets n Christmas mrning, and there were presents under the tree.圣诞节早上,我的袜子里装满了小玩具和糖果,树下还有礼物。
    I was n my best behaviur as we pened the presents. Later, Granny called me ver.当我们打开礼物时,我表现得很好。后来,奶奶把我叫了过来。
    “I have smething special fr yu,” Granny whispered. “It‘s fr all yur treasures, Merry Christmas.”It was a music bx with a ballet dancer inside. 我有什么特别的东西送给你,”奶奶轻声说。“这是给你所有的宝贝的,圣诞快乐。”那是一个音乐盒,里面有一个芭蕾舞演员。

    A few weeks after that Christmas, Granny passed away. I think f her ften thugh, especially at Christmas. 圣诞节后几个星期,奶奶就去世了。不过我经常想起她,尤其是在圣诞节。
    Each year, I take ut the music bx she gave me. Inside I keep Granny's paper hat and the letter she helped me write that Christmas.每年,我都会拿出她送给我的音乐盒。里面放着奶奶的纸帽子和她那年圣诞节帮我写的信。
