Sleeping Beauty is abut a princess wh falls asleep fr a lng time under a spell by a wicked fairy. She is awakened by a prince’s kiss years later.
Cinderella is abut a yung wman wh is bullied by her stepmther and stepsisters. Using magic, her fairy gdmther gives her a beautiful dress and a carriage t attend a ball at the palace, but she must return hme by midnight befre the magic ends.
Cinderella meets a handsme prince but has t leave the ball in a hurry and she lses a glass slipper. The prince finds it and tells everyne he will marry the persn t whm the slipper belngs. The stepsisters each try n the slipper but it des nt fit them. Cinderella tries n the slipper and it fits. She marries the prince and they live happily ever after.

hear sb d sth表示“听到某人做了某事”。 我们昨晚听到那个女孩在隔壁房唱歌了。 We heard the girl sing in the next rm last night. 我听到他关掉电视。I heard him turn ff the TV.
3. What a lng time yu slept in the frest!感叹句通常由what和hw引导,表示赞美、惊叹、喜悦等感情。what修饰名词,hw修饰形容词或副词。多么聪明的一个女孩!What a clever girl she is! Hw clever the girl is! 多么惊人的成绩! What an amazing achievement!
感叹句的语序:hw和what与被修饰词放在句首,其它部分用陈述句语序。 1) Hw+形容词(副词)+主语+谓语!Hw作状语,修饰形容词或副词。这箱子多重啊!Hw heavy the bx is!他跑得多快啊!Hw fast he runs!
(2) What+名词+主语+谓语!多大的一个盒子啊! What a big bx it is!多美的画呀!What beautiful pictures they are!(3)在口语中,感叹句中的主语和谓语经常略去Hw ht (it is)! 好热啊!What a questin!问得多妙!
4. We thught yu were never cming back.我们以为你们再也不回来了。We thught...表示人们过去的某种想法、判断等可以译作“我们原想……;我们本以为……”如:I thught he wuld cme, but he didn’t.我原想他会来的,但他却没有。
5. As sn as yu wake up, yu must g t the frest with yur father.你们一醒来就必须和爸爸去森林。as sn as表示 “一……就……”As sn as the mn rises, we can fllw theminstead.月亮一升起来,我们就可以顺着它(面包屑)走了。
