devte neself t sth/ding sth.
    53.learnt/learned 考查非谓语动词。

    One pssible versin:
Recently, ur class held an English debate with the theme “Shuld lighting firecrackers be allwed in the Spring Festival?”.It was an engaging event with varius perspectives presented.
Sme f my classmates supprted the idea f allwing the use f firecrackers during the Spring Festival. They argued that firecrackers are an essential part f ur traditinal culture and bring jy and festivity t the celebratin. On the ther hand, there were students wh ppsed lighting firecrackers. They stressed the negative impact n the envirnment, such as air pllutin, nise pllutin and ptential safety hazards.
As fr me, I agree firecrackers shuld be limited r even banned during the Spring Festival. While I understand and appreciate the cultural significance, I believe nthing is mre imprtant than envirnmental prtectin and safety.
