    Andrea Martínez, a 21-year-ld law student at the Natinal Autnmus University f Méxic, has been admitted as the cuntry’s first female cllege ftball (橄榄球) player.     The Okapi Wildlife Reserve, lcated in the Demcratic Republic f the Cng, is a UNESCO Wrld Heritage Site and hme t ne-sixth f the remaining wild kapi in the wrld.     Mining, defrestatin (森林破坏), and illegal hunting are all threatening the reserve, and criminals have murdered several peple, including frest guards, since 2012. Frest lss is expanding rapidly. In 2020, the mst defrestatin in the Okapi Wildlife Reserve since recrds began in 2002 was recrded via satellite data. Since 2002, the area has lst abut 7% f its ttal frest cver.     Prtecting the reserve is imprtant fr the endangered kapi and ther wildlife that call the regin hme, but preserving the area’s frests is f particular significance in dealing with climate change.
