    Dear Sir/Madam,
We are students in Year 9 at City High Schl. In ur English class, we’re ding a prject n the lcal cmmunity. We’re being asked t cme up with ideas t imprve ur neighbrhd.
It’s a lively neighbrhd with sme parks and green spaces. It has gt shps, cafés and ther places where yu can buy fd. Hwever, this can cause a prblem. There is a lt f litter in the streets. We’d like t hand ut sme leaflets t ask peple t take their litter hme instead f thrwing it n the grund. At the same time, we’d like t d a litter cllectin and cllect plastic bttles fr recycling.
Anther idea we’ve had is t paint the benches (长椅) in the children’s area in the park next t ur schl. The benches are ld. We think it wuld be better if peple had sme nice, clrful benches t sit n.
Several f us catch the lcal train t schl. We’ve nticed that the statins aren’t very attractive (有吸引力的). We’d like t grw plants t make peple feel happier when they’re waiting at the statin. If we did that, we wuld, f curse, take turns t lk after the plants and water them.
Finally, we knw that a new rad system fr the center f twn is cnsidered at the mment. Are cycle ways and ftpaths included in the plans? We hpe s, because we want t encurage students t walk t r ride t schl instead f cming in a car.
We’re lking frward t hearing frm yu.
    Yurs faithfully,
    Year 9 students.
