    1. Greetings.
    Say hell t students. Divide them int tw grups. Let them PK by getting mre sunshine cards t make their grup trees grw taller and taller.
    2. Enjy a sng abut spring. (课件出示:一首关于春天的儿歌)
    3. Shw sme pictures abut beautiful spring. (课件出示:一些关于春天美景的图片)
    (1) Students talk abut spring with the teacher.
    T: Spring is cming! The sky is clearer and the sun is brighter. Hw abut the weather?
    Ss: The weather is warmer.
    T: Super! Can yu think f any ther changes? Think f mre changes frm winter t spring. Yu can discuss in grups.
    Ask sme students t stand up and describe the changes. The mre they say, the mre sunshine their grup can get. They can describe like this:
    The grass turns green. The day is getting lnger and the night is getting shrter…
    (2) Let students lk at the pictures and lead them t tick the right pictures belnging t spring. (出示课件)
    T:Spring is s beautiful! Wu Binbin and his family are ging n a trip t the cuntryside. Wu Binbin will tell a stry t Rbin. (课件出示:一张农村的图片)

    歌曲欣赏,利用PPT欣赏春天的美景,谈论冬天到春天的变化,对形容词的比较级进行预热,自然地引入本课时的话题。通过快速阅读和仔细阅读两个环节,让学生根据不同的任务采取不同的阅读策略,自主阅读文章,获取有效信息,感知文章大意。通过科学实验室环节,落实知识点,提高学生的学习兴趣,培养学生的综合学习能力。
    Step 2: While-reading②
    1. Fast reading.
    T:Wh is in this stry? Watch the cartn f “Read and write”. (出示课件) Then read the stry fast and answer this questin.
    After reading,the teacher leads students t say, “Little Duck and Old Tree are in this stry.”
    T:Let’s try t get mre infrmatin.
    2. Careful reading.
    (1) Let students read the stry by themselves. The teacher gives tw tasks:
    ①Finish the exercises in “Read and circle”. (课件出示:Read and write板块第一部分的练习)
    ②Circle the cmparative frms f the adjectives in the text.
    (2) Check the answers f “Read and circle” tgether. (出示课件)
    T:Nw,please write dwn the title in yur bks.
    (3) Shw the text. Lead students t learn the cmparative frms f the adjectives. (出示课件)
    Lead students t learn the circled wrds by letting them guess the meanings f these cmparative frms f the adjectives.
    Stress the wrd “smarter”.
    T: Why des Little Duck ask his friend Old Tree questins?
    Ss:Because Old Tree is lder and smarter.
    T: Great! Yu’re smart. And yu’re all getting smarter and smarter.
    The teacher can help students understand by using bdy language.
    (4)T:Bys and girls, I have a questin. What is Little Duck ding?
    Ss: He is watching the sun g dwn.
    T: Gd answer! And he is watching his shadw.
    Teach “shadw” by shwing the picture(课件出示:影子的图片) and using the real shadws in the classrm.
    3. Read again.
    T:Little Duck has a questin abut his shadw. Read the stry again and finish the dialgue. (课件出示:该板块第二部分的练习) Check the answers tgether.(出示课件)
    Teach “lwer and lwer” and “lnger and lnger” by creating a science labratry.
    T:Naturally,when the sun is getting lwer and lwer,ur shadws are getting lnger and lnger.
    Let’s g t the science labratry t see the relatinship between light and shadw.(出示课件)
    The teacher leads students t read “lwer and lwer” and “lnger and lnger” several times with actins.
    Let students read the text by fllwing the recrding. Then read it by themselves with crrect sense grups and pausing.

    2. Free talk.
    Let students try t talk abut the changes f their parents by using the cmparative frms f the adjectives.
