    This unit is arund talking abut past events. Students learn abut the usage f the past prgress tense by reviewing what they were ding when COVID-19 brke ut. This is the first perid f Unit5 and it fcuses n students’ listening and speaking skills. Students will learn t use the past prgressive tense t talk abut what peple were ding at a time in the past.

    The material is frm: GO fr it, PEP, Grade8, Unit5. It’s a a listening and speaking class.This unit is arund talking abut past events. This is the first perid f Unit5 and it fcuses n students’ listening and speaking skills.
    教学对象分析
    The target students are mix-level students. Mst f them like learning English. They are cnfidence in speaking English and active in class. And they have learned the present prgressive tense.

    从网上搜集抗疫题材的图片和视频资源,利用美图秀秀进行图片编辑,利用狸窝视频剪辑器、编辑星等进行视频剪辑,应用到教学当中,围绕图片和小视频展开对话。
    技术支持的教学设计思路
    本课以如何成为一名记者为主线展开教学,设计背景是3月27日肇庆市高要区爆发新冠疫情,学生通过描述那时自己和他人正在做什么,来学习使用过去进行时。
    一、运用试听教学法,创设有效的学习情景。本课通过在“肇庆发布”、“端州发布”等微信公众号上搜索抗疫题材的资源,利用美图秀秀进行图片编辑,利用狸窝视频剪辑器、编辑星等进行视频剪辑,进行课堂的导入和对话练习。
    二、设计贴近学生生活的任务,激发学生参与热情。课程内容选择本市的视频资源,引发学生的思考与回顾。
    三、运用自评与他评结合。在特定课堂活动过后,均设置评价项目,使学生对自己的听课成效有及时的理解。

    人教版八年级下册Unit 5 是通过构建过去场景中正在发生的各种情况引导学生学习并使用过去进行时。Sectin A (1a-2d)是一节听说课,也是本单元的第一节课。本节课围绕最近在肇庆市高要区爆发的新冠疫情这个时事热点展开教学,学生对此较为熟悉,更容易回忆。
    在课件设计中,利用信息技术手段,在“肇庆发布”、“端州发布”等微信公众号上搜索抗疫题材的资源,利用美图秀秀进行图片编辑,利用狸窝视频剪辑器、编辑星等进行视频剪辑。通过课堂活动均通过以听说为核心的任务链呈现目标语言What were yu ding when the rainstrm came?I was (ding...)。通过Lead in, Pre-listening, While-listening, Pst-listening等环节,学习和操练本课目标语言,完成最基本的语言输出。
    在教学创新方面,本课的主线是如何成为一名记者。为激发学生的学习热情,为学生制作了记者证和金银铜牌,学生在学习并掌握一个课堂内容后,将获得升级机会。学生为此兴趣大增,取得了良好的教学效果。
