We asked her t cmpare life in San Francisc and Lndn. Here’s what she tld us.
(1) The cities
San Francisc is a lvely city in a beautiful bay in the USA. It’s gt lts f great buildings and places. It’s smaller and much mre mdern than Lndn, but it’s less interesting. Lndn has a lt mre theatres and museums. The Americans are usually mre interested in mney than culture! The buildings and streets in Lndn are very great, and the parks and markets are wnderful. Lndn is nt as dangerus as San Francisc. I feel much safer living here—nbdy carries a gun. The plice dn’t carry guns either.
(2) The living
Peple have a higher standard(水平)f living in San Francisc because it’s much less expensive than England. Fr example, petrl is less than half the price and the things like fd, clthes and cameras are much cheaper. It’s a shpper’s paradise and I always spend a lt f mney buying things befre I g back t Lndn! It’s a bit mre expensive t rent a huse in Lndn and my bills are much bigger than they were in San Francisc. S, althugh my salary in Lndn is abut the same as it was in the United States, I have t wrk harder t get the same quality f life as I had befre.

In San Francisc yu can walk everywhere because it’s a small city. There’s less traffic than in Lndn, and the public transprt is great. There are cable cars t g up all the hills and electric buses which make the city much cleaner. Public transprt in Lndn is terrible and really expensive. It takes me an hur t get t wrk and the jurney is usually stressful(紧张的). Lndn’s dirtier t and much mre plluted. The traffic is bad, because there is t many cars and the streets are narrw. But English drivers aren’t as bad as American drivers.

Fd in the United States is much better. It’s fresher, cheaper, and there’s much mre chice. Restaurants aren’t as expensive as in Lndn and the service is much better. In sme restaurants they put a clck n the table when yu arrive, and if they haven’t served yur meal in five minutes, they’ll give yu the fd free!
