教材简析
本单元以“动物园里的动物”为话题，用why,where引导的特殊疑问句及表示性质和品质的形容词谈论自己喜欢的动物以及它们生长的地方和习惯。
Sectin A 部分通过设置参观动物园的情景，谈论动物及对动物的喜爱，然后通过听说读写活动，学习谈论动物、喜好及来自哪里。
Sectin B部分通过对濒危动物的调查，引出保护濒危动物“大象”的语篇阅读，培养学生保护动物的意识和人文素养，同时培养学生归纳中心与分析结构的阅读技巧。
学情分析
学生对动物的喜爱可以说有天性，他们对动物的喜爱胜过了对其他事物的爱，因此，由Panda导入话题，深受学生的喜爱，容易激起他们的学习的浓厚兴趣，然后，通过询问原因，导入Because来说明原因。由形容词cute; lazy;shy;beautiful;scary;interesting; fun;tall等来修饰这些动物，说明动物的本性和品质，最终使用Kind f; very来表示程度。可以说学生非常喜欢学习这一部分的内容，能够提高学生学习英语的兴趣。但是，这一部分也有难点，比如说，那些濒危动物的保护，以及如何采取措施让更多的人来关爱这些动物，都是一个不小的挑战。教师要加强这个方面的培养，提高学生的认知水平。

5. Present the wrd “lamb” n big screen.

一、 设计思路
1.在导入环节，设计播放“Mary had a little lamb”可以调动学生学习积极性，从而导出学习animal。
2.在呈现阶段，我们把该节课要掌握的生词，都呈现出来了。使得这些词汇都被学生掌握了。
3.听力训练，恰到好处了，学生容易掌握。
4.口语训练设计符合教学内容。

二、技术应用
1.教学的互动性很强，调动了学生的学习兴趣。
2.采用信息技术的整合，极大的为做好游戏创造了条件。
3. 作业设计也是一个很好的挑战。
