    Mark was in the third grade class I taught. All 34 f my students were dear t me, but Mark was ne in a millin. Very neat in appearance, he had that happy-t-be-alive attitude that made even his ccasinal misbehavir delightful.
    Mark als talked withut stpping. I tried t remind him again and again that talking withut permissin was unacceptable. What impressed me s much, thugh, was the sincere respnse every time I had t crrect him fr misbehaving. “Thank yu fr crrecting me, Sister!” I didn’t knw what t make f it at first but befre lng I became accustmed t hearing it many times a day.
