语法精讲本单元重点介绍基数词、序数词和简单的数字运算。 基数词和序数词1．基数词表数量，后接可数名词； 序数词表顺序，前面须加the，但当序数词前面有形容词性物主代词或所有格修饰时，不加the。如：three days the third day Tm's third birthday2．序数词的构成，基数词变序数词的规律是在基数词后加-th，有些有特殊变化，分别是：
* 加粗部分为易错数字，注意写法。(口诀：一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t、d、d；八去t；九减e；f换ve；遇到整十数词，y变ie；遇到几十几，只变个位。)
3．编码时都可用，要注意写法的不同。如：Page One ＝ the first page Wrld War Ⅰ＝ the First Wrld War Part Tw ＝ the secnd part
基数词的习惯用法1．表确切的数据：数词 ＋ hundred/thusand/millin/billin ＋ 名词复数 如：六百本书 six hundred bks; 几百万人 several millin peple2．表大概的数目：hundreds/thusands/millins/billins f ＋ 名词复数如：数百本书 hundreds f bks
3．次数、倍数的表达，如：nce, twice, three times, many times4．分数的表达：分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于1时，分母上的序数词用复数。如：ne fifth，tw thirds，a half ＝ ne secnd, a quarter ＝ ne furth
数字运算的表达如： 9＋3＝12 Add 9 and 3, and yu can get 12.＝ 9 plus 3 is/equals 12.
9－3＝6Subtract 3 frm 9, and yu can get 6.＝ 9 minus 3 is/equals 6.9×3＝27 Multiply 9 by 3, and yu can get 27.＝ 9 times/multiplied by 3 is/equals 27.9÷3＝3 Divide 9 by 3, and yu can get 3.＝ 9 divided by 3 is/equals 3.
