Where thers use sight, I use my sense f smell. When I was six, I embarrassed a by in class by telling the teacher he’d wet himself. He sat far behind me but I smelled it, intensely. He was s upset that my grandmther was called int schl. When we gt hme, she warned, “Never use yur sense f smell fr that again.” She explained that I, like her, had hereditary hypersmia, meaning I’m a super smeller.
