I did call her, and she became as clse as family and taught us a lt. She ften babysat fr free. She had a lt t teach nt nly Myles, but t teach me lessns I culdn’t have unearthed in any bk. My experience with her became a master class n the depth and breadth f kindness. Pam helped me remember that it was wrth taking the time t teach peple abut autism, because peple enlightened abut the challenges and rewards f autism are kinder. They are part f a better future fr my brther. And fr that, I am frever grateful.
