The kitchen waste includes vegetable leaves, peel, bne and thers. Harmful waste is bad fr peple’s health and the envirnment. It needs t be carefully dealt with. Sme may be buried and sme may be burned.
There are many advantages f waste srting. It helps t turn the waste int useful things. Chinese peple, ld and yung, are learning envirnmental prtectin. There are fur kinds f wastes: the hazardus(有害的), the recyclable(可回收的), the dry and the wet. The used bks and ntebks shuld be put int the recyclable garbage bins, the batteries shuld be put int the hazardus garbage bins, the dry leaves shuld be put int the dry garbage bins and the leftvers(剩饭菜)shuld be put int the wet garbage bins.
The ther day, I fund a lady in my neighbrhd. She put all the garbage int ne garbage bin. She was nt ding the garbage classificatin. When I went t tell her t d it, she lked cnfused(迷惑的). Mst f this waste is buried in landfills, which may pllute the water and sil. Mrever, we are running ut f space f new landfills.
In fact, mre than half f ur waste can be recycled. Recyclable garbage can be made int new materials. Fr example, wet garbage can be used t make gas, heat and many ther kinds f useful things. But in rder t recycle garbage efficiently, we need t srt ur garbage.
Can’t garbage-prcessing cmpanies d the srting jb? They can. But that requires a lt f wrk and csts lts f mney. Things will becme much easier if each f us can srt ur wn garbage. Besides, the annying task f srting might encurage peple t prduce less waste. D yu still want t buy that milk tea?

Many schls give lessns n rubbish classificatin and ffer students chances t put what they have learnt int practice by vlunteering. Theme activities like”Clean Yur Plate” are als carried ut t cut dwn n fd waste in schls. Besides, students are asked t write dwn their thughts and suggestins abut rubbish classificatin fr the gvernment.
