Mr. Rwe had infinite patience and understanding and I learned s much frm watching him. He culd perfrm miracles, like the ne her perfrmed with Steven, ne f the unhappiest kids I ever saw. That day after classes, Mr. Rwe chse Steven t pitch the kickball at recess. “Hey, Steven,” Mr. Rwe cmmented, “Yu are gd at pitching. Let me shw yu my secret trick.” Mr. Rwe taught Steven ne f the tricks that nt a single kid culd perfrm. Steven learned fast and did quite well! Everyne cheered fr him!
After the kickball, Steven sat as clser t Mr. Rwe in classes as he culd. When a questin was asked, Steven lit up; he knew the answer! He raised his hands. When he answered the questin, his vice shk. Hwever, he gt the answer right! He said, with Mr. Rwe, his days f the furth grade prmised wnderful.
