But then she lked at Sphia, wh was watching Kelly with an anxius expressin. “I…. I culdn’t decide what t d,” Sphia said. “And yu’re s gd. Smetimes I feel like my stuff is just s bad in cmparisn.”
Kelly lked t see if Sphia was jking, but she seemed cmpletely serius. Nw Kelly was shcked. “I’m nt talented ... Miss Grace seldm praises me. Yu’re the best ne in ur class!”
Sphia raised her eyebrws. “I might be a really gd cpier f the stuff, but I have n idea what t d when it cmes t making up my wn images. Yu are s great at making new things ut f the ld stuff. I’ve lved yur wrks.”
“I’ve lved yurs, t,” Kelly said.

Stacy Dean, an fficial at the US Department f Agriculture, was inspired by a visit t Watkins Elementary, in Washingtn, D.C. Students grw vegetables in their schl garden. They als rll up their sleeves in the schl’s kitchen t participate in a FRESHFARM FdPrints class, which integrates cking and nutritin educatin.
“Wh’s next?” asks instructinal cach Regina Green, as kids thrw vegetables int the pan and the smell f fresh ginger and nins fills the air. “We grew these in ur garden,” Jessie Gibsn, ne f the students, says prudly. Then he measures and purs dry ingredients int a bwl.

She says the kids take mre f an interest at the grcery stre t identify fds they’ve tried in the prgram.
Dean wants t have the science arund healthy eating integrated. A blck t scaling up these types f prgrams is mney. The prgram relies n grants and receives sme federal funding, but it’s nt enugh t expand the prgram t all the schls that culd benefit.
In fact, there are ther prblems. At a time when diet-related disease is a leading cause f death, and unhealthy eating habits are rted in US culture, it’s unrealistic t think that a cking curriculum culd vercme such a sweeping, scietal prblem. “We knw frm years f evidence that we need multiple things t cme tgether t supprt healthy eating,” says Angela Odms-Yung, a prfessr f maternal and child nutritin at Crnell University.
Despite these challenges, prgrams like FRESHFARM can help kids expand their chices by intrducing them t new tastes. At first, many kids are turned ff by the bitter taste f greens. But thrugh the magic f cking, prcessing the nins, and blending in fresh ginger, kids can be inspired.

Hw Did Wlfgang Amadeus Mzart Die?

He died n December 5 after lapsing int a cma. The death certificate states he died f “severe miliary fever”. Exactly which disease led t Mzart’s death has been a mystery fr the last 200 years.
    Speculatins
Many myths —sme mre plausible than thers — entwine (缠绕) Mzart’s early demise. One f the mst ppular myths — that Mzart was pisned by his rival Antni Salieri — rse t prminence due t the ppularity f the film Amadeus. This thery is supprted by the fact that Mzart had been living thrugh a phase f depressin befre his death, suffering frm parania and existential fear. Mzart himself suspected that the cause f his deterirating health was being pisned ver a lng time. Hwever, it is highly likely that this was just his subjective view f reality.
Many ther speculatins circulate. Syphilis and trichinellsis are frequently mentined. In 1905, a French physician assumed uric acid pisning due t a never fully healed nephritis. In 1961, lead pisning was suggested as a pssible cause f death.
Scientific attempts t explain Mzart’s death
In 2000, a grup f American scientists prpsed rheumatic fever caused by a strep infectin after cnducting meticulus detective wrk. The symptms stated in literature and the reprts f Mzart’s cntempraries yielded the clues. Withut antibitics, such an infectin wuld inevitably lead t death. Rheumatic fever causes a weakening f the heart, which culd explain Mzart’s swllen limbs.
In 2009, the Dutch scientist Richard Zegers extensively studied surviving dcuments and cncluded that Mzart had been suffering frm pharyngitis, a thrat infectin with symptms including cramps, fever, rashes and a swllen neck. Mzart’s sister-in-law Sphie Haibel had described these symptms. The death registry f Vienna fr winter 1791 lists several deaths caused by this disease.
Whatever the cause f Mzart’s death, it came far t early. Let us thank him fr his manic urge t create art and remember him n December 5th!

D.Mzart nce gt a nephritis and it was never healed.
34.What can we infer frm Paragraph 4?

B.Antibitics were nt discvered at that time.
C.Rheumatic fever can nly be caused by strep infectin.
D.Mzart’s illness cannt be cured even tday.
