本节课为本单元第一节课。经过一个星期的玩耍后,学生的状态需要一定时间的调整,口语的流利程度、班级的上课氛围、笔记的书写速度都有待重新唤醒。因此上课的进度需要稍微放慢,由浅入深,逐步递进。

Step I: Lead in
Shw students the invitatin letter n the desk Invite students t attend the inventin fair.
Step II: Listening 1a-1b (learning and understanding)
1. Students guess the inventins accrding t the descriptins the teacher listed.
2. Students review the time shwn in 1b. Then they are encuraged t predict the time f these inventins using the sentences I think was invented in...
3. Listen t the tape and then check answers tgether.
Step III: Listening 2a-2b (applying and practicing)
1. Students bserve the pictures frm 2a and learn t describe them in their wn wrds.
2. Listening activity 2a: students listen and number the inventins 1-3 in rder. Then they learn the phrase: run n the electricity with the help f the teacher.
3. Listening activity 2b: students listen and cmplete the chart. Fr the first time, they listen and take ntes the key wrds and then cmplete the answers. Fr the secnd time they listen and check the answers. Crrect the frm f "changing" and "serving"
4. Students learn the skills that they need t pay attentin t the title requirement carefully after the teacher's guidance. Then they talk abut their favurite inventins used the target language.
Step IV: Grup wrk inventin (transfering and creating)
1. Students need t chse ne field t create their inventins and make clear abut their grup's rles t wrk tgether. They als need t pay attentin t the criteria shwn n the blackbard and wrk-sheet.
2. Students wrk tgether t create their grup wrks using the target language, describe the materials they use, the prblems they slve and the wrking principals.
Step V: Summary
Students need t answer the questins: "Why d peple invent things?" "Where d inventrs get their ideas?" "Hw can we make the ideas be real things "
. After thinking
abut these questins, they can have a better and deeper understanding f inventin.
