wrth
作形容词，意为“值得；有……价值的”，与be构成系表结构，常在句中作表语。后可接名词、代词、数字或动词­ing形式。
(1) be wrth sth. 值得…
The newly pened museum is certainly wrth a visit. 那个新开的博物馆当然值得参观。
wrth a visit / the truble 值得参观 / 麻烦的
The z is wrth a visit.这家动物园值得参观。
(2)be wrth ＋ 钱 值多少钱
The painting is wrth 3,000 yuan. 这幅画值3000元。
This watch is wrth $30.这块手表值30美元。
(3)sth. be (well) wrth ding 某事(很)值得做
（不用be very wrth ding）
This bk is wrth reading.这本书值得一读。
The film Operatin Red Sea is well wrth seeing.《红海行动》这部电影很值得看。
翻译：武汉大学确实值得参观。Wuhan University is really wrth visiting.
take ff
意为“脱下”，其反义词组为put n(穿上)。它还可以表示“(飞机等)起飞”。
It's t ht utside.Why nt take ff yur cat？外面太热了。为什么不脱掉你的外套呢？
manner
n. 方式；方法 (pl.) 礼貌；礼仪
(1)manner作名词，在此处用复数形式，意为“礼貌；礼仪”。gd manners意为“有礼貌”，bad manners意为“没礼貌”。
We all like peple with gd manners.
(2) manner 作名词，还可意为“方式；方法”。
The prblem shuld be slved in a fair manner.
expect
及物动词，意为“预料，盼望”，除了be expected t之外，还有其它用法：
①、expect + n. / prn. 预计……发生；期待某人或某物
I expect a snwstrm. 我预计会有一场暴风雪。
②、expect( sb.) t d sth. 期望(某人)做某事
The ld man is expecting his daughter t visit him.这个老人盼望着他女儿的到访。
③、expect + 从句 预计 / 料想……
I didn’t expect that yu wuld get there s sn. 我没想到你会这么快就到达那里了。
1.After class, students are suppsed/expected t clean the chalk ff the blackbard.
下课后，学生们应该擦掉黑板上的粉笔字。
clean ... ff意为“把……擦掉”。
e.g. Can they clean ff all these finger marks? 他们能够把这些指痕全部擦掉吗？
Please clean them ff. 请把它们擦掉。
拓展：clean up意为“打扫（或清除）干净”。
e.g. Bys and girls, please clean up yur desks.同学们，请把你们的书桌收拾干净。

be wrth ding sth. 值得做某事
wrth 后接动词时，该动词要用动名词，不能用不定式，并且该动名词习惯上要用主动形式表示被动意义。
The film isn’t wrth seeing.
在现代英语中，在be wrth前使用形式主语it被认为是合习惯的，eg：It isn’t wrth repairing the car. 这辆汽车不值得修了。
注意：很值得做某事，表达为 be well wrth ding sth.
