When Shanghai intrduced a new garbage-srting plicy (垃圾类政策) in July last year, the city’s residents (居民) tk sme time t get used t it. They jked that every time they tk ut their garbage, the staff (工作人员) standing by the bins wuld ask, “What kind f garbage are yu?”
