本节课是第三话题的Sectin A的第一课时,主要活动是1a和1c。通过询问物品所属的情境呈现教学内容,主要学习询问物品所属的表达方式“Whse cap is it?”,“It’s Sally’s.”,“Is this yur cap?”,“N, it’s nt mine. ”,“Is this cap yurs?”同时还将学习名词性物主代词和名词所有格。

学生能够根据发音规则自主拼读和运用新单词:mine, whse, yurs, hers, bike, cat, then等;
学生能够运用询问物品所属的表达法进行交流,如:whse it?/ Is this... yurs?
学生能够正确使用名词性物主代词和形容词性物主代词。

能听懂有关询问物品所属的简单的对话或叙述;
能运用物主代词描述物品所属;
能运用所学的单词和句型来谈论物品所属;

Ss all stand up, sing and d the bdy exercises: Head, Shulders, Knees and Tes.
Step 2. Revisin (3 mins)
Let Ss read sme wrds with the help f phnetic rules and wrds they have learned already.

Step 3. Pre-listening (12 mins)
1. Teacher shws the new wrds n the PPT and helps Ss t read them crrectly.
2. Practice the new wrds by ding a quick respnse.
Free talk and play the guessing game t shw the main sentence patterns.
T: Lk, what’s this in English?
Ss: It’s a pen.
T: Whse pen is it, d yu knw?
Ss: N, we dn’t knw.
T: Well, this is my pen. I can als say it is mine.
T: S1, is this yur bk?
S1: Yes, it is.
T: S S1, this is yur bk. The bk is yurs.
T: Nw I have cllected 3 things here. But nly ne f them is mine. Please use this sentence pattern t guess which is Ms. Lin’s.
T: This is a cap. S please ask me t guess.
Ss: Is this cap yurs?
T: N, it’s nt mine. I think it’s S2’s.
T: The whle class, let’s ask S2 again.
Ss: S2, is this cap yurs?
S2:Yes, it’s mine.
T: Gd, here yu are! S the cap is S2’s. It’s S2’s cap.

4. Pair wrk: The Happy Wheel
Let Ss practice the sentence pattern:

Step 4. While-listening (15 mins)
Let Ss listen t 1b. Number the pictures and then listen again and fill in the blanks.
2. Listen, lk and say. Finish 1a.
1). Let Ss listen t 1a and answer the questin: Whse cap is it?
2). Ask Ss t read after the tape and pay attentin t the prnunciatin and intnatin, and mark ut sentences that shuld be read in rising tne.
3). Guide Ss t understand sme language pints.
4). Ask Ss t read with the tape and then try t recite 1a.

1. Share my traveling stry.
