It wasn’t until Yash Gupta brke his glasses in taekwnd practice that he realized just hw much he depended n them. He had t wait a week t get a new pair.
“I culdn’t see clearly in the classrm,” said Gupta, nw 17. Hwever, Gupta’s eyes were pened t a much larger prblem. He saw n the Internet that mre than 12 millin children wrldwide dn’t have the crrective eyewear they need.
“It’s just a ttal disadvantage fr them, because if yu can’t see anything, yu definitely can’t make the mst f the educatin yu’re being given,” Gupta said. “It wuld be impssible fr them t fully achieve their ptential（潜力）. Despite several hummingbird species seen at feeders in Nrth America during the summer, a wide range f threats has caused many hummingbird ppulatins t drp, including climate change, wildfires, habitat pllutin and lss.
