    1. 能运用used t 来谈论过去, 并与现在做出对比。
    2. 建立对人物专访这类文体的基本结构意识,学习写作技能。
    情感目标:
    通过学习一个腼腆的小姑娘通过自我完善,实现流行歌星的梦想的故事,使同学进行自我反思自己的变化历程,从而引导学生建立积极的人生态度,要想成功,必须努力奋斗。
    二、教学重难点
    1. 能运用目标词汇和短语谈论人物的过去及现状,体会主人公故事给我们带来的启迪。
    2. 了解文章的谋篇布局,提升阅读、写作能力。
    三、教学过程
    Step1 Lead in
    1.Use “used t” and “but nw” t describe the fllwing pictures.
    She used t have lng hair, but nw she has shrt hair.
    She used t be shy, but nw she is utging and ppular.
    2.Shw a picture and ask: D yu knw wh she is?
    Then shw the ther picture and ask: Has Miss Liu changed?
    D yu want t knw hw I have changed?Let me share with yu.
    Hw I have changed:
    I used t be shy, but nw I’m utging and friendly.
    I used t have a small number f friends, but nw I have a lt.
    I used t just stay at hme alne in my private time, but nw I usually hang ut with friends.
    I used t be a student, and I tk up teaching after finishing cllege.
    The rad t be a gd teacher (is difficult):

    There are lts f prblems t deal with.
    Hwever, I never give up and fight n. I believe I can make it.
    Nw I dare t speak in frnt f crwds.
    As a teacher, I get tns f attentin. S I have t be careful abut what I say r d.
    Play a game: magic eyes
    Step2 lk and say

    Tday, I’d like t intrduce yu ne f them------Candy Wang(shw the picture)
    Lk at the picture and say:
    1.What’s the girl ding?
    2.Is she utging r shy?
    Tday, we will read an article abut her. Here’s the title: Frm Shy Girl t Pp Star
    Then think abut the questin:
    What did she use t be like?
    Step3 Fast -reading
    Read quickly t get the main idea f each paragraph. Number 1 t 3.
    Step4 Careful-reading
    In rder t get a better understanding. Let ’s read paragraph by paragraph.
    a. Read paragraph 1 tgether and find ut the answers t the questins.
    b. Read paragraph 2 and then fill in the chart.
    c. Read paragraph3 carefully t find ut the advice Candy gives.
    Finish 3b.
    Step5 Retell
    Retell the passage.
    Step6 Pst reading
    3c. Suppse yu are the interviewer and yur partner is Candy. Ask and answer questins.
    I: Hi, Candy. I’m______. I’m happy t interview yu.
    Candy Wang: .. .
    I: Yu used t be shy, didn’t yu?
    Candy Wang: .. .

    Discuss: Talk abut hw yu have changed.
