(My favrite subject is science)句子用法一样。
in a bkstre在书店里,是习惯表达。
3.【答案】A
A. s所以,表因果(前因后果);B. because因为,表原因(前果后因);C. but但是,表转折;D. r或者,表选择。
根据后句“I went there by bus”可知,问句问的是去公园的方式。故选B。
5.【答案】A
must 必须,它的一般疑问句的否定回答用needn’t;may 可以,一般疑问句的否定回答用mustn’t;can能,会,它的一般疑问句的否定回答用can’t;culd 是can的过去式,一般疑问句的否定回答用culdn’t。故选A。
He is always lsing his keys.
has第三人称单数形式;had是have的过去式;is having现在进行时态;will have一般将来时态。
10.【答案】A
其结构为“was/were+Ving”。read a bk“看书”。根据主语是I,故be动词用was。故选A。
又因为主语the Great Wall是第三人称单数,故be动词用is,knw的过去分词为knwn。

Sphia is smart, talented and incredibly nice. As a team leader, she wishes Nathan, a member f her histry prject, did his part as required. But rather than criticize him, Sphia ffered plite encuragement trying t push him instead, nly t find that Nathan kept falling behind. It ended up that ther team members, wh had t take n mre wrk, cmplained abut bth Sphia and Nathan, while Nathan himself cmplained that he was nt treated fairly.
Hw did pr Sphia get int this mess? The primary reasn was that Sphia failed in a key aspect f leadership- the duty t prvide clear feedback(反馈)fr team members. This isn't simply a duty but a crrectness.
Failing t questin r criticize Nathan's wrk, Sphia was in fact unkind. Many peple are nt a failure, like Nathan in this case; they're just in the wrng place, and still left in the dark. What they really need is feedback frm their leaders. Hwever, Sphia, in this case, withheld a gift frm Nathan.
"Yu'd better use pen, hnest, cntinuus and clear feedback," says Harry Kraemer, a prfessr f management and strategy at Nrthwestern University, "t help figure ut smene's best fit- in their particular jb r in the rganizatin."
This apprach als prevents surprises. It's nt uncmmn t see smene suddenly remved frm a team. They may have deserved it, but with a kind leader, they wuldn't have been caught ff-guard because they wuld have been receiving pen, hnest, cntinuus and clear judgment f their perfrmance.
Then why is it s hard fr leaders t give gd feedback? "We like t be liked," Kraemer says. S we avid anything that may cause unpleasantness, but that kind f feedback usually helps members find the right place fr them. "If yu like t be liked, the chance f being respected is extremely lw. Hwever, if yu start ff fcusing n being respected, yu have a chance f being liked." Kraemer adds. The mst difficult part fr the leader, f curse, invlves criticizing smene. That is what a nice leader finds hard.
Back t Sphia's case. Nt telling Nathan hw he was n the team nly made a hard situatin wrse. But with a different mindset, she culd have set herself and Nathan up fr success.

C.pen and hnest cmmunicatin is a must fr leaders and team members
D.praise and encuragement frm leaders bring ut better team perfrmance
32.Accrding t the writer, what Sphia shuld d is________.
A.patiently encuraging Nathan t try his best
B.gradually having Nathan drpped ut f the prject
C.plitely shwing Nathan the imprvement he made
D.clearly telling Nathan her judgment f his perfrmance
33.Which f the fllwing wuld be the best title fr the passage?
A.T be nice r t be kind?B.T be liked r t be criticized?
C.Is it necessary fr leaders t be pleasing?D.Is it helpful fr leaders t be demanding?
30.B 31.C 32.D 33.A
It’s nt uncmmn t see smene suddenly remved frm a team. They may have deserved it, but with a kind leader, they wuldn’t have been caught ff-guard这种方法也可以防止意外。
Hwever, Sphia, in this case, withheld a gift frm Nathan. “Yu’d better use pen, hnest, cntinuus and clear feedback,” says Harry Kraemer, a prfessr f management and strategy at Nrthwestern University, “t help figure ut smene’s best fit- in their particular jb r in the rganizatin.” Back t Sphia’s case. Nt telling Nathan hw he was n the team nly made a hard situatin wrse. But with a different mindset, she culd have set herself and Nathan up fr success.
Failing t questin r criticize Nathan’s wrk, Sphia was in fact unkind. Many peple are nt a failure, like Nathan in this case; they’re just in the wrng place, and still left in the dark. What they really need is feedback frm their leaders.
Sphia is smart, talented and incredibly nice. Failing t questin r criticize Nathan’s wrk, Sphia was in fact unkind. The mst difficult part fr the leader, f curse, invlves criticizing smene. That is what a nice leader finds hard. Back t Sphia’s case. Nt telling Nathan hw he was n the team nly made a hard situatin wrse. But with a different mindset, she culd have set herself and Nathan up fr success.
