Befre age thirty-fur, I was a stay-at-hme mm. Then, things changed and I had t find a jb. I stumbled alng with lw-paying jbs, stress and self-dubt.
Three years later, while wrking at a cmmunity cllege, I became friends with the president’s secretary. She encuraged me t take classes and get a teaching degree. Using cmputers t prcess data isn’t new t cnservatin research, but in the past, they’ve been limited in what they can accmplish. They start t struggle when the data gets mre cmplicated. In cmparisn, AI prgrams can learn and imprve their ability t interpret data. They can prcess data that wuld take a research team mnths t finish, in a matter f hurs. In sme cases, they are mre accurate than their human cunterparts, and the algrithms nly imprve with time as they gather mre and mre training data.
