He started psting his vides n TikTk, with reviews and racing cntent full f humr and cmmentary. Micrplastic particles dn't just end up at the bttm f the cean. Animals are eating them—at least 1,500 species have been reprted t ingest plastic. And a lt f it. Fr example, whales in New Zealand's Hauraki Gulf cnsume rughly three millin micrplastics daily, accrding t research published in Science f the Ttal Envirnment, which analyzed whale waste t see hw much micrplastics were present.
"Other research has shwn that if plastics are small enugh, they can crss the gut (肠道) wall and get int internal rgans thugh the lng-term effects are still unclear. Plastics can als release chemicals that are harmful t digestive system," says Kahane-Rapprt. "This is cncerning, and while we d nt yet understand the lng-term health effects, it is likely nt a gd sign fr whales and their prey (猎物) t eat a man-made material like plastic."
This is bviusly bad fr whales, but it als has effects n humans and the cean at large. We are als part f these fd chains and are cnsuming micrplastics regularly. They are in ur bttled water, in ur table salt—they are even in ur huse dust and in the air we breathe. And we still dn't knw what the health effects are. Meanwhile, the impact n whales—and what it indicates—is trubling n many frnts. "Whales are ecsystem engineers," says Kahane-Rapprt. "They can spread the nutrients that they cnsumed and serve as ecsystem guards—when whales are nt healthy, ther parts f the system will suffer."
Kahane-Rapprt says mre research is needed. "The next research step will be t determine hw much plastic the whales excrete (排出) and hw much is left in their bdies. Fllwing that, we wuld be able t determine the direct health effects n their tissues."

In recent decades, it has becme clear that cnsumers' decisin-making prcess is influenced by their emtins. Traditinally, peple have been asked hw they feel abut prducts and services, but since individuals are ften unaware f their wn emtins, their respnses may nt accurately reflect reality.
Cnsumer neurscience investigatins have helped create a deeper understanding f the rle f emtins in cnsumer-related chices. Emtins can be bradly categrized as psitive r negative; examples f psitive emtins include lve, pride, and happiness, while negative emtins include anger, disgust, and fear. Bth types f emtins cause physilgical respnses.
Distinguishing between different types f emtins is mre imprtant than classifying them as psitive r negative. When sad, cnsumers tend t be willing t pay mre fr gds and are drawn twards high-risk, high-reward ptins. Fr instance, an envirnmentalist shpping at a supermarket might fcus n getting ne item fr free in a tw-fr-ne ffer rather than thinking they dn't need tw identical prducts.
Anxiety can reduce the likelihd f making risky chices and make individuals careless abut rewards, similar t the effect f sme psitive emtins. Negative mds like fear and anger als influence risk-related decisin-making differently: anger leads t mre ptimistic assessments, while fear results in mre pessimistic risk assessments. Stress is perhaps the mst prblematic emtin fr cnsumers when it cmes t risk-seeking. It's cmmn fr cnsumers t rush int decisins between wrk r scial activities, feeling pressured t make quick chices. This stress can increase risk-seeking behavir, leading t regrettable decisins.
Purchases ften invlve making predictins abut hw we may feel when we have bught smething. Fr example, will buying a new hat make me feel gd? Unfrtunately, cnsumers are nt gd at predicting hw they will feel in the future. This means that peple ften purchase smething n the basis that they think it will make them happy. Hwever, as it is cmmn t verestimate the future emtins f happiness linked t prducts, cnsumers ften feel disappinted with the item as it des nt live up t their emtinal expectatins.
32. What prbably causes cnsumers t make imprper decisins?
A. Misjudgement f reality.B. Unaware f emtins.
C. Slw reflectin t service.D. Preference fr certain prducts.
33. Which emtin makes cnsumers mre willing t pay a higher price despite the risks?
A. Lve.B.Pride.C. Anxiety.D. Sadness.
34. Which is a reasnable suggestin t cnsumers accrding t the text?
A. Cnsider nly immediate rewards.
B. Avid making decisins under pressure.
C. Fcus n prduct quality when shpping.
D. Predict future emtins befre making a purchase.
35. Why d cnsumers smetimes feel disappinted with their purchases?
A. They accurately predict their future emtins.
B. They underestimate the happiness linked t prducts.
C. They have very high requirements fr prducts.
D. They dn't get the pleasure they expected f the prducts.

Take Ntes With a Pad?
In recent years, as pads are getting mre and mre widely used, sme students give up taking ntes by hand. Instead, they take pictures f what the teachers write n the blackbard. There is n dubt that this practice is nt nly time-efficient but als has the advantage f accuracy ver hand-written ntes.
Hwever, taking hand-written ntes helps imprve ur spelling ability, which is weakened in this age f keybards. What's mre, while taking ntes, ur minds are als wrking t get us a gd understanding f what the teachers teach.
Frm my perspective, we shuld make wise decisins based n different circumstances.
