Deepfake: synthetic (合成的) media, including images, vides, and audi, is generated by Al technlgy t shw smething that des nt exist r events that have never ccurred.

Deepfakers ften have evil mtives, including creating misinfrmatin and generating cnfusin. They tend t demean, terrify, and anny, and have targeted nt nly celebrities but rdinary citizens as well.
Mst f the academic research surrunding deepfakes fcuses n the detectin f huge amunt f deepfake vides emerging nline. One detectin apprach is t use algrithms t identify incnsistencies in deepfake vides. Fr example, an autmatic system can examine vides fr errrs such as irregular blinking patterns f lighting.
