    The “Mna Lisa” is ften held up as a symbl f emtinal mystery.Krnmeier,the German scientist,and a team used it in a study f factrs that influence hw humans judge visual clues such as facial expressins.Using a cpy f the masterpiece by Lenard da Vinci,the team mved the mdel’s muth crners slightly up and dwn t create eight altered images.They created fur “happier” and fur “sadder”“Mna Lisas”.

    “Given the descriptins frm art and art histry,we thught that the riginal wuld be the mst ambiguus,” Krnmeier said.Instead,“we fund that Da Vinci’s riginal was perceived as happy in 97 percent f cases.”
    The secnd experiment invlved the riginal “Mna Lisa” with eight “sadder” versins.These were given even mre subtle(微妙的) differences in the lip tilt(倾斜).In this test,the riginal was still described as happy.Hwever,participants’ reading f the ther images changed.“They were perceived a little sadder than in the first experiment,” said Krnmeier.
