    NYU Langne Health received access t the latest tl frm a famus tech cmpany t explre generative AI. One f the studies by the researchers published in JAMA Netwrk Open, lked at hw well the tl culd cnvert(转换) the text in 50 patient discharge ntes int patient-friendly language. Specifically, generative AI made the discharge ntes drp frm 11th-grade reading level n average t a 6th-grade level.
    Tw physicians were asked t review the AI discharge summary based n a 6th-grade level. The reviewing physicians awarded 54 percent f the AI-generated discharge ntes the best-pssible accuracy rating. They als fund that 56 percent f ntes created by AI were entirely cmplete. The result signified that even at the current perfrmance level, prviders f discharge ntes wuld nt have t make a single change in mre than half f the AI summaries reviewed.
