Cnsumptin f ultra-prcessed fds (UPFs) has increased ver the past 20 years. UPFs (超加工食品) cntain few r n whle fds, are industrially prduced, are ready-t-eat r ready-t-heat, and include additives (添加剂). The ultra-prcessing f fd reduces its nutritinal value. It has been knwn that higher UPF cnsumptin is assciated with verweight and heart disease. Nw, research has been extended t examine its impact n mental health.
In a new study, ver 72,000 participants wh were at least 55 years ld and didn’t have dementia (痴呆) at the start f the study were fllwed fr an average f 10 years, during which they filled ut questinnaires regarding their diet. By the end f the study, 518 peple were diagnsed(诊断) with dementia.
